Wish You Were Here

By Craig Hindman on 2 February 2012

I was reflecting this week about how my mindset can often be like – “HEY EVERYONE, I’M UP HERE ON MOUNT HOLY, I CAN SEE MY HOUSE FROM HERE! COME ON UP THE WEATHER’S FINE!”

And then I look at my life… and what God has called me to, and I remind myself, God’s looking at me, going, “Hey, Craig! Wish you were here…”

So my revelation this week is that i should stop trying to get people to “Where I’m at” and start getting me to “where God’s at” and then hopefully I’m inspiring other’s to get where God’s at…

It’s good to remind myself as a leader that God’s a much better yardstick than me… :)

So true Craig. If we all spent more time not trying to fix others, but rather lookng at ways that we can improve ourselves, with God’s help of course, the world would certainly be a better place. Thanks for sharing your thoughts about leadership. Wise words indeed. More power to you.
